Magic card prices on stream, for the right printing.
In Magic, the same card name can be worth a few dollars or a few hundred depending on the printing. TCG Scanner recognizes the card on your stream, shows the set it matched and gives you the market price per condition before you bid.
Why Magic is hard to price on a stream
A popular Magic card is often printed many times: in different sets, in foil and non-foil, and in special treatments such as borderless, showcase or extended art. Those versions can sell for very different amounts.
On a stream you get a few seconds and a card at an angle. TCG Scanner names the set it matched in the overlay, so you can check at a glance that the price you see belongs to the version on the table.
| What changes the price | What to check on stream |
|---|---|
| Set and printing | Which set symbol and frame the card has. The overlay shows the set it matched. |
| Foil or non-foil | Ask the seller or look at the light on the card. Foil and non-foil are priced separately. |
| Special treatment | Borderless, showcase and extended-art versions are separate cards with their own price. |
| Condition | Compare the bid with the Near Mint to Damaged prices, not just Near Mint. |
