Terms of sale
1. Who we are
TCG Scanner is a product of SmartBusinessCards, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 87660806, based in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What you buy in the pre-sale
In the Founding Member pre-sale you pay in advance for access to the TCG Scanner app for the plan and period you choose (1, 3, 6 or 12 months). The app is still in development. The planned timeline is a beta for Founding Members in December 2026 and the public launch in January 2027.
- Your subscription period starts on the launch day, not on the day you pay.
- Beta access before launch is a bonus and does not count towards your period.
- Solo and Duo plans include the live scanner for the number of games in your plan; All Games includes every game we support.
- A pre-sale purchase is a one-time payment. It does not renew automatically.
- Supporter and Supporter+ are one-time contributions without app access. Supporter+ includes your name on the Founders Wall.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in euros and include VAT. You pay through our payment provider Mollie, with iDEAL, card or another method offered at checkout. We never see or store your card details. Founding Member prices are available until 30 November 2026, and the Early Bird offer is limited to 50 paid orders.
4. If the app does not launch
If TCG Scanner does not launch, you get the full amount you paid back.
5. Right of withdrawal
You may cancel your purchase within 14 days of payment without giving a reason, and we refund the full amount within 14 days of your request. Email us at [email protected] with your order email address.
6. Price data
TCG Scanner shows market prices from a third-party provider of TCGplayer market data. Prices are indicative, can change at any moment and can differ from the price a card actually sells for. Card recognition and condition prices help you decide, but every purchase decision is your own. TCG Scanner is independent and not affiliated with TCGplayer, any streaming platform or any card publisher.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your plan, except where Dutch consumer law does not allow such a limit.
8. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; the version that applied when you paid stays valid for your purchase. Dutch law applies. If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
