“I was tired of finding out after the auction that I had paid way too much.”
I collect Pokémon cards and buy a lot of them on live streams. And it kept happening: a card comes up, the timer starts, chat goes wild, and I bid. Ten minutes later I look it up and realize I paid far more than it was worth. That feeling of regret, again.
Looking up prices during a stream is almost impossible. By the time you have found the right card, set and condition, the auction is over. And prices on stream are often pushed up by hype, not by what the card actually sells for.
So I built the tool I wanted myself: something that sees the card on my screen and tells me what it is worth, per condition, before I bid. Then I added a tracker so I could finally see whether my collection was going up or down.
No more guessing. No more regret. That is TCG Scanner.
